Morgan was one of the actors in the informational film Safe Sex for Men and Women focused on AIDS prevention and education. Proceeds from the video was donated towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a member of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Group. She also has led numerous other fundraising initiatives to combat AIDS and testified before a special Congressional Committee about AIDS Education. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar as well as the Board of Governors of APLA. Former Surgeon-General C. Everett Koop has asked her on occasion to be his substitute during AIDS occasions and has been the host of an AIDS Awareness Special featuring anchorman Steve Bell. She's appeared on Nightline with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan is nominated to be one of the Emmy winner for Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written specifically for Morgan. In the spring, she appeared with Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. She then started the summer by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. It was also co-starring Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. Then, she was transported to Luxembourg to film the Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the film. Morgan also starred in the thriller of psychological suspense made exclusively for the USA Network garnering one of the highest ratings ever recorded by the network's history.
